The inaugural Avatar of Artistry painting competiton was a great success with a high standard of entries making judging difficult. However the awards have been presented in each category, and you can find a gallery of all entries here.
Many thanks to our sponsors Artis Opus and Two Thin Coats Paints.
Time to start planning your entries for 2025?
We have a new champion after a closely fought 7 rounds and 82 players. Our new champion is Radek Bry.
Full results can be found here.
Hopefully your models are painted and ready for the big weekend. If not you only have a few days for the final touches.
Remember that all crews must be fully painted, and that submissions for the Avatar of Artistry will be on display for most of the day, so you won’t be able to use them in your games.
Also, Avatar of Artistry voting will be electronic via google docs (thanks Emma).
Tea and coffee making facilities will be provided in the form of hot water urns, fresh milk, tea bags and jars of coffee. Feel free to bring your own herbal teas, instant hot chocolate, etc.
Please provide your own drinks cups/mugs with lids as this will reduce waste and prevent spillages in the room.
The rulespack has been updated to include the following:
Artis Opus have kindly donated customised Drybrush sets and drybrush pads for first place in each of the 3 categories of the painting competition.
Many thanks for these awesome prizes.
